Dog Obedience Training


Purebreds or mixed breeds, all dogs can benefit from a puppy, basic, or advanced dog obedience class at Pampered Pet.Through positive reinforcement consisting of praise and reward your dog will quickly learn a great deal.
 
Group or individual training available.
 
Private one on one training sessions available by appointment, (4) one hour training sessions focusing on your individual needs $190.
 
Dog Boot Camp
For dog owners that may not have the time to train their own dog. You can give your dog a short vacation at Pampered Pet at the same time have them put them through our boot camp for training. Our program includes 7 days of boarding and daycare. Your pet will receive training from our AKC certified instructor 3 times each day. Dogs learn to heel, sit, sit stay, down stay, stand stay and recall. Upon completion your dog will be ready for the Canine Good Citizen exam if desired.
Everything included $450. 
 
AKC S.T.A.R. PUPPY PROGRAM- Socialization Training Activity Responsibility
 
Basic Dog Obedience-  
Tired of repeating yourself or yelling at your dog ? These classes are designed to teach you how to work with your dog, so you can have the relationship you want with your dog. The classes will introduce you to to the most commonly used commands in dog training and how to best communicate them to your dog.  RATES: This class runs for 6 weeks and costs $100 
 
Advanced  Dog Training- (Basic Dog Obedience is a prerequisite) These classes will prepare you and your dog for the, title of Canine Good Citizen,  more challenging "real world" situations. We will help to fine tune your handling skills and teach your dog a more advance group of commands, with a higher level of distraction. You will also get the opportunity to teach your dog some crowd pleasing tricks. 
RATES: This class runs 6 weeks and costs $100
 
Canine Good Citizen Training and Test- A series of 10 exercises will be taught which will allow you to communicate better, and have more control of your dog in real world situations.This training class is sanctioned by the AKC and all classes are given by our licensed instructor. 
RATES: This class runs 4 weeks and costs $100   Canine Good Citizen Test $25
 
Therapy Dog Training- (Basic, Advanced and Canine Good Citizen classes are a prerequisite ) These classes are meant to teach your dog how to interact with the disabled, elderly and handicapped members of our community. Our program provides your dog exposure to equipment and situations of everyday life for people that could use a little help and comfort. Classes are held at Pampered Pet and Saint Joseph's Living Center.
Rates: This class runs 4  weeks and costs $150
